About the drug:
Stanozolol (aka Stromba or Winstrol) is one of the most widely used and effective anabolic steroids. It is noteworthy that it was originally presented in two forms: injectable and tablet. If it were not for the recent problems with nandrolone and its quantitative determination, which have been holding the International Athletics Federation (IAAF) in suspense for the second year now, then stanozolol can be called the anabolic steroid of the 20th century without a shadow of a doubt. In the eighties, stanozolol became the most popular drug among high-class athletes, and progress in many sports is directly related to its systematic use. This doping drug has perhaps the most interesting history. The first part was completely invisible, shadowy, and the beginning of the second was marked by the most famous case in the history of the fight against doping, when in 1988 at the Olympic Games in Seoul, a day after the triumph – a brilliant victory in the 100 meters with a world record, 9.79!. – Ben Johnson took away the gold medal. “Stanozolol” – this word was then said at a press conference by Prince Alexander de Merode, who led the IOC Medical Commission and was in charge of anti-doping control. This word has since been remembered by the whole world. And few people knew what a huge pressure Prince de Merode then withstood from sports functionaries and near-sports magnates who did not want to “muddy the waters and overshadow the holiday.”

Stanozolol was developed by Winthrop Laboratories in 1962 under the brand name Winstrol. Initially, the drug was created to treat anemia, hereditary angioedema, accelerate recovery after surgery, as well as for use in veterinary medicine to increase muscle mass, stimulate hematopoiesis, strengthen bones and stimulate the appetite of debilitated or sick animals.

A little later, the drug began to be actively used on cross-country horses to increase speed performance. Athletes of bodybuilding and other strength sports quickly drew attention to it, starting to use Winstrol for an ergogenic purpose.

The drug is not converted into estrogens, so it does not cause side effects such as gynecomastia and edema. In general, Stanozolol is one of the safest steroids at present, the side effects of Winstrol are rare and, with a properly designed course, do not appear at all in most cases of use.

The following side effects have been identified: Joint pain. This drug is not recommended if there are problems with ligaments or joints, or it should be combined with drugs such as deca.
