Riboxin

Riboxin is a metabolic agent, a stimulator of biochemical processes, a precursor of ATP. Increases energy balance, improves coronary circulation and metabolic processes in the myocardium. Has antihypoxic action. It is used for ischemic heart disease (myocardial infarction, angina pectoris), cardiomyopathy, heart rhythm disturbances, myocarditis, myocardial dystrophy, liver diseases (hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, fatty degeneration of the liver), peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, open-angle glaucoma.

Riboxin effects:
Riboxin belongs to the group of anabolic substances that stimulate metabolic processes, so it is widely used in bodybuilding.
Inosine – a derivative of purine, a precursor of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) – the most important source of energy in bodybuilding.
Inosine stimulates the synthesis of nucleotides, enhances the activity of certain enzymes of the Krebs cycle.
Being a nucleoside, inosine can penetrate into cells and increase the energy balance of the myocardium.
Improves coronary circulation and metabolic processes in the myocardium. Has antihypoxic action.

How to use Riboxin:
Inosine is prescribed orally before meals. The daily dose when taken orally in bodybuilding is 1.5 – 2.5 g. In the first days of admission, the daily dose of inosine is 0.6 – 0.8 g – 0.2 g 3 – 4 times a day. In case of good tolerability of the drug, this dose is increased to 2.5 g. The duration of the course is from 4 weeks to 1.5 – 3 months.

Riboxin contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to inosine, gout, severe renal failure.

Side effects of Riboxin:
Inosine is generally well tolerated; in some cases, tachycardia, itching, skin flushing are possible; in cases of an allergic reaction, the drug is canceled. In rare cases, there is an increase in the concentration of uric acid in the blood. Long-term use in high doses may exacerbate gout.
