French Fries (Dietary)

Sometimes you think: “I wish there were fried potatoes” … Yes, you constantly pull yourself away. Fried potatoes! That’s how many calories! Two minutes on the tongue and a few hours on the treadmill… Oh, if only French fries were less caloric! Please! Not a gram of fat, but the taste and benefits – wow! Yes, and making such a potato is elementary! Anyone interested – come in; )
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients: Potato (large) – 2 pcs
Egg white – 2 pcs
Salt (preferably coarse sea salt)
Cooking:
Peel raw potatoes from the skin, cut as you like (I like the classic version of slicing potatoes – long sticks)

In a bowl, beat the protein a little with a fork or filter it through a sieve. It is necessary to get rid of protein lumps, and nothing more. It is not necessary to whip the protein into a dense mass or white!

Dip potatoes in egg white. The protein will not allow moisture to escape from the potatoes, thus our dish will turn out tender and not dry.

We spread the potato sticks either on a dry baking sheet, or on a baking sheet with baking paper, or on a baking sheet lightly oiled.

We put in an oven heated to 200C for 25-40 minutes (depending on the thickness of the slices).

Since I have a maximum dietary potato, I spread it on a simply dry baking sheet. In the process of baking in the oven, I did not turn over, the potatoes did not stick to the baking sheet. But I don’t know what you are going to bake on and what kind of oven you have. Anything, as they say, is possible :)

As soon as the potatoes are browned and become soft, we take them out of the oven, put them on a dish, salt and eat!

Bon appetit =)
