How to keep motivated and willing to work out?

1. Set mini goals for yourself. Beginners often come to the gym with great ambitions, but after two or three lessons they realize that they are not able to compete with Jet Li or Rafael Agaev. Girls quit training, seeing how hard and monotonous it is. To prevent this from happening, set yourself many small goals that are achievable in the near future.

2. Constantly record your success. We dropped a kilogram of weight, ran half a circle more, legs farther apart with the expectation of sitting on a twine – remember that you are already a winner. Feel free to praise yourself for progress, mark the achieved goals with a “tick” in your mind. Finally use a mirror! Notice all, even the most microscopic, improvements in your figure. Feel how your body works during training, how it becomes stronger, more resilient every week. Appreciate the feeling of tiredness and relaxation after class. What if not sport gives us an understanding that we are truly alive?!

3. Accept failure appropriately. It happens that for some reason we can not achieve our goal. The main thing in such a situation is not to fall into depression, which is so fashionable now, but to find a solution to the problem. Any failure is just a signal that directs us on the right path.

4. Bring variety to your sports life. Change your running routes, listen to different music, watch martial arts movies, expand your sports wardrobe. Experiment, change the pace of loads.

5. Don’t neglect the company. If friends accompany you during training, then the problem of lack of motivation may disappear by itself. After all, you will have a great time. Just don’t forget why you actually came to the gym. Behind friendly jokes and conversations about your personal life, do not lose the main goal – the desire for self-improvement.
