Qigong in the Buddhist and Taoist traditions. Andrey Ramses

земля, огонь, вода, дерево и металл (воздуха). We begin to meditate on one of the elements, gradually gathering them together.

MEDITATION НА ВОЗДУХ

Performing 6 ways of breathing is air meditation. You can supplement this practice with a regular relaxation exercise. For example, in a cross-legged position. Sit and breathe naturally without controlling your breathing. Let him go free without paying any attention to him. Or feel every inhale and exhale. Determine the taste of the air, enjoy its freshness and transparency. You merge with it, imagining yourself as the wind, blowing, bending large trees, raising waves on the sea, inflating the sails of ships. Give yourself an installation like Mowgli - "you and I are of the same blood."

MEDITATION НА ВОДУ

It is better to spend it near the water. Take any position and listen to the sound of the water. Imagine how it falls on the top of your head and washes away all your dirt, all your worries and worries from your body. It makes you cleaner not only physically, it also cleanses you of mental dirt. Your mind clears up, thoughts calm down and go somewhere. Remain cleanliness, peace and good on your soul.

You can meditate in a glass of water. Look at the water, imagine how you merge with the water, become “of the same blood” with it. Imagine the sea as it beats against the shore, or lazily splashes against the rocks. You can imagine a waterfall or a river. At the end, you drink water as a sign of merging with it.

The meditation teacher told me this story. “There lived a swami (teacher, sage) in India. He gave up everything he had, but he always carried an umbrella with him to protect himself from the rain. One day he met another famous teacher. He didn't even have an umbrella. And the teacher asks the swami, “Why do you carry an umbrella with you? To shelter from the rain. Don't you know that everything that falls from the sky is from God?” You are right, the teacher exclaimed the swami, throwing away the umbrella. Since then, he has gone without an umbrella.”

We are always afraid of something. it есть наш зонтик, за которым мы укрываемся. Drop его в side. Get rid of fear. Nothing can harm you. Water falls from the sky. You and she are one

MEDITATION НА ОГОНЬ

Sit in front of a candle and look at the fire. After a while, you can close your eyes and imagine a burning candle in front of you. Then move it to the middle of the forehead to the yin-tang point, to the solar plexus and then to the navel. You feel the warmth of the candles at the points. If the meditation is done correctly, then a large amount of saliva will appear in the mouth, which should be swallowed with a spiral twist around the navel.

Get over your fear of fire, just look at the fire and imagine that you are one with it. You can put your hand near the fire and feel its heat, but it is important not to burn yourself. As a rule, you yourself determine how much to meditate. If you are unable to control your state, then you should stop meditation.

MEDITATION НА ДЕРЕВО

It is preferable to carry out in nature near a living tree. You choose the tree you like and sit under it and relax, listen to the wind rustling the leaves, as the tree slowly says to you: "we are of the same blood."

In joint meditation of the 5 elements, the tree corresponds to the person.

MEDITATION НА ЗЕМЛЮ

You can just sit on the ground with your palms on it and imagine how everything negative and bad is transmitted to mother earth, and in return, you are given pure and bright or thank her for giving you life, nourishing you, taking care of you. Give her some of your love and gratitude. You can meditate on a stone, this is also earth.

Life is full of stresses, they accumulate in us, and then manifest themselves in the form of diseases, remember the phrase “all diseases are from nerves”, of course, nerves need to be treated and the method that you are offered is better than medicine. After all, drugs only dull your feelings, all the negativity will remain with you, but you need to eliminate the very cause of stress. The reason lies not in the fact that everything around is bad, but in the fact that you yourself perceive reality in this way. it не означает, что надо быть жизнерадостным идиотом и, все время смеяться.

In perestroika times, when everything was bad and collapsed before our eyes, people laughed a lot. People said that laughter "heals", but for some reason, after a while, the stress returned. This means that the “medicine” did not help and, in fact, it could not help, since it was necessary clear your mind to develop a positive attitude towards the environment. Even if everything is very bad, it should be remembered that "like attracts like." If you say that everything is bad, then bad things are attracted to you.

Meditation is the best way to clear your mind. You can envy someone and poison your own existence with such thoughts. And you can live in peace, rejoicing in every moment you live. You are in a hurry somewhere, you want something, you achieve it, you demand it, but do you need it? Remember the tale of A.S. Pushkin "Goldfish". Each time the old woman got more and more, but she was never satisfied with what she had achieved. And only after losing everything, she was able to appreciate the merits of the whole trough before the broken one. Or you can remember Roger Zelazny's novel "The God of Light". When the main rakshas (demon) took possession of the body of the Buddha, the latter warned him that, along with the body, he inherited the curse of the Buddha. The Rakshas laughed and said that only man experiences sin. As for the demons, they only get pleasure and joy when they manage to take possession of the body. But after a while, the Rakshas found that nothing satisfied him. No sex, no violence, no gold, no wine. He's lost his sharpness of perception. Then he turned to the Buddha. The demon asked: "What is this curse of the Buddha, which he acquired along with the body"? The Buddha replied, “There are many contradictions in man. He is not a pure bright flame. His mind often fights with emotions, his will with desires. His ideals do not correspond to the surrounding reality; if he follows them, he will feel pain from the loss of the old dream, if he does not follow, it will be painful for him to refuse a new and noble one. Whatever he does, everything is both gain and loss, coming and going. And he always mourns for the departed and, to some extent, is afraid of the new. Reason opposes tradition, emotions oppose the restrictions that others impose on a person. And always because of these disagreements comes what you mockingly called the curse of man - sin, guilt! You have known what is called sin. And it will always overshadow what you eat and drink. That is why enjoyment no longer brings you joy. That's why you want to fly away now. But this will not give you anything: the feeling of guilt will follow you. It will rise with you across the world to the realm of pure cold winds. It will haunt you wherever you go. it и есть проклятие Будды».

We all have the curse of the Buddha. But if you manage to understand yourself, then the curse will go away and will not bother you. To do this, you need to follow a few simple rules:

first, do to others as you would like them to do to you;

second - give up everything superfluous and everything that is necessary will come to you by itself;

third - enjoy every moment you live, as if it were the last in your life.

Meditation is one of the easiest ways to understand yourself. All exercises are nothing more than mnemonic devices that allow you to get rid of stress and find true balance. They help you return to Wuji, return to the Source. "And ten thousand things fall into the void again."

СОВМЕСТНАЯ MEDITATION 5 СТИХИЙ

Sit in front of you (you are the "element of the tree"), put a candle, a glass of water and put a stone next to it. All components are connected by air (metal). Imagine all the elements together, unite with them.

ZEN PRACTICES TO CLEAR THE EMOTIONAL MIND

The direction of Zen is not recognized by official Buddhism. It looks like it's on the sidelines. Just like Sufism in Islam.

The founder of Zen, or Chan in Chinese, is the Indian monk Bodhidharma. According to legend, he visited China, then Japan, where he founded the Chan sect. The main component of the teaching was the sitting meditation of tso-chan. Bodhidharma is considered the first Zen patriarch. But Zen itself is associated with the sixth patriarch after him, Hui-neng. It is he who owns the methods of emotional emancipation of the mind.

They were based on the legendary saying of Bodhidharma: Truth is hidden outside of writing. Do not betray the law in signs and words. Turn inward to the heart and back. So that, having comprehended, to become a Buddha.

Zen monks in both China and Japan were called mad, crazy, crazy. The fact is that traditional Buddhism instructs us to maintain emotional balance. Only then
