The Seven Stages of Self-Realization Volume II Stage Five. Sri Paramahamsa Yogananda

bypass the idea of the trinity. The Holy Spirit is the entire vibration in which there is the consciousness of Christ, and above this vibration, or above the whole creation (Creation), there is God the Father.
The great yogi Patanjali spoke about the Holy Spirit. How do you get in touch with the Holy Spirit? Patanjali said that the Cosmic Mind emits sound. This sound is OM, or AMEN, as St. John speaks of in Revelation 1:10:
I was in the Spirit on Sunday, and I heard behind me a loud voice, like a trumpet, which said: I am Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.
This is the Holy Spirit. Every sound causes vibration. The Holy Spirit makes sound. This vibration is our well-being and salvation.

21. BE IN THE WORLD BUT NOT BE OF THE WORLD
If you live in the world and you have no attachment to it, then you are a real yogi. "Pay no attention to the body" means not to care too much about insignificant things. Renunciation does not mean punishing you, but its meaning lies in the sacrifice of insignificant, perishable things in order to achieve the highest goal - God. Secular people have left God for transitory, perishable things, but you must cast aside perishable things for God's sake.
Divine law teaches that whatever you want to conquer, you need to know how to conquer it. Not only do you need to drop it and abstain from it, but as soon as you think about it, you need to eradicate it from your mind. You need to conquer your mind. It is very difficult to know God if many people are insincere in their minds. However, God knows our thoughts.
Through этих учений вы учитесь как услышать голос Божий - как приобрести контакт с Богом. Then you will understand your religion better. You will know only the TRUTH, which alone can set you free, but not your religion or church.

22. LEARN TO LOVE NATURE
The gardener understands the language of plants and can accelerate their development. The flower is the Divine smile. I see petals of divine flowers. I see His life flowing through the leaves and trunks of the trees. If you develop spiritual sensitivity, then you can, by touching a flower, determine whether the flower loves you or not. Flowers respond to your touch and grow or wither. They grow if you have love for them. Some people cannot grow flowers because they have no love for them. Sometimes I stand in front of a flower completely captivated by it and feel the presence of the Creator of this flower. So you need to develop love for flowers. Often, when I am in such a sensitive state, I am not able to pick a flower.
Learn to love nature, but do not love her more than God. Some people spend whole hours in the garden, but when it comes time for meditation, they don't want to meditate. Suppose God doesn't have time for you or flowers. Enjoy God in all things, for He has given you the ability to enjoy the beauty of all things in the world.

23. PRINCIPAL VIRTUES
Faith, Hope and Love
One should not put "hope" in the second place, but in the first place, for hopes are the result of man's thinking. People hope blindly or unconsciously, thanks to the inner hidden Divine masons who intuitively remind them that "all is not lost forever." Death and failure are not the last trials, because behind the dark clouds of temporary delusions, a silver life of eternal pleasures awaits us. Нам нужно сохранять надежду познать Бога до последнего вздоха, ибо всем нам принадлежит вечность, в которой мы можем надеяться жить самой лучшей и высокой life. To inspire the soul with its final despair is the greatest crime.
Hope is the eternal light on the dark paths of life that the soul must travel through incarnations to reach God. Never give up hope, for then the path of unfortunate darkness will await you, until you again have the opportunity to rekindle the guiding light of hope and continue on your path to God.
Большинство of people надеются и стараются некоторое время, однако когда их несколько раз постигает неудача, то они оставляют надежду и впадают в отчаяние. The divine man never loses hope, for he knows that he has an eternity in which he can materialize his dreams.
We do not dare to think that death is an eternal abyss in which we will fall asleep forever with the sleep of oblivion, but we must look at death as a rest given to us for a while so that we can continue our path further and further with new energy and hopes, until we will reach the eternal abode of God.
The hope is born from the intuitive soul-consciousness that we will someday fulfill our forgotten resemblance to God in us. This intuitive consciousness is "faith".

Faith is proof of the invisible
Metaphysical "faith", or intuitive the experience of all truth dwells in the soul. Human hopes and desires for achievement are born from it, but it is also hidden behind a wall of ignorance. Usually people do not know anything about this intuitive faith, which is hidden in the soul, which is the hidden source of the most amazing hopes.
No hope is too great or impossible for this all-seeing intuitive eye to fail to fulfill. Faith is the last perception by which we can know all things for what they are.
The word "faith" is often used instead of "blind faith" quite erroneously, for example: "I have faith in him." Blind faith is only problematic and can be followed by error. Blind faith is an imperfect, experimental feeling that something is true. Untried blind faith manifests itself in dogmatic views, or if it loses courage, it can turn into skepticism or unbelief.
When blind faith turns into dogmatic views or skepticism, it becomes destructive. Constructive faith is the mental state necessary to experience some truth in the beginning. The person who no longer believes in anything also ceases to test and try, but this is the only means to know the truth.
Constructive faith is good when one continuously believes and experiments with some truth until its essence is revealed. Pernicious unbelief is limiting, for the person does not believe in what he is doing. Constructive disbelief or doubt is good, for it reveals behavior that is not ultimate skepticism and aversion from the Truth for all time, but the person says, "I don't believe your claims until you prove them true."
Jesus сказал, что вера является доказательством невидимых вещей, т.е. all phenomena in visible matter can be known through the senses, but invisible substances, like vibrations, subtle cosmic forces and light phenomena, invisible and unknown, are not perceived through the limited abilities of the senses.
The proof of the existence of subtle forces and God as a finite substance is faith, or the intuitive ability of omniscience and instantaneous knowledge of everything that develops in deep meditation in the contact of the soul with God. Jesus said:
Truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, and say to this mountain, "move from here to there," it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.
(Matthew 17:20)
If one believes in cosmic consciousness as the engine of all material Creation, and one has intuitive knowledge of this consciousness, then one can operate with the all-pervading consciousness or control every part of matter on earth or in the distant stars.
Just like your consciousness is everywhere, in every part of your body, and just like you can move one arm or your muscles, i.e. you can arouse the consciousness to act in every part of your body, so a person with cosmic faith or cosmic omnipresent consciousness can command every part of matter to act according to his instructions. This faith is an inner light that reveals itself as Truth in the existence of subtle forces that are not perceived by the eyes and senses.
The greatest of virtues is love
After acquiring cosmic intuitive faith with continuous hope and effort in meditation, one becomes selfish and wants to enjoy the Kingdom of God alone. Compassion or love is born out of sympathy and sympathy is born out of the consciousness of omnipresence in which the progressing soul can transfer its consciousness to limited souls and other sufferers and experience their limitations and their suffering. When a person feels other people's suffering, then out of love he has a desire to help.
Selfishness suffocates the soul and imprisons the omnipresent soul in the prison of limitation. Selfishness tramples on its own purpose. Instead of happiness, it creates unhappiness, and together with the imperfect, limited pursuit of happiness, clouded by selfishness, it excludes the possibility of the pursuit of perfect, unlimited happiness, which is in the Divine Omnipresence.
I used to want salvation only for myself, but my Master once said to me: "You are a selfish being, you want to eat the cheese of eternity alone, while you need to acquire it to distribute to others. Ultimate happiness lies in sharing it with others.".
Since that time, I have always said that I strive for salvation so that I can bear it. to everyone, and not be limited to just my one soul mouth, but through countless soul mouths I want to drink the nectar of the Divine Omnipresence. I want to distribute it to everyone. This is what love is. Remember that first of all you yourself need to acquire God, and then you will be able to give Him to others.
