Impact principles:

find a point;
attach the pad of the thumb or middle finger to the point so that the finger seems to stick to it. Pain or aches should be felt;
press the point, rotating and, as it were, screwing the finger into the point;
press for 2-3 minutes without interruption;
gradually slow down the rotation.

Indications:

• Diseases of the large intestine: bloating, abdominal pain.
• Lung diseases: transparent watery discharge from the nose, external syndrome due to the perception of external pathogenic Qi, dropsy.
• Diseases of the manual yang-ming canal of the large intestine: toothache, pain and swelling of the mucous membrane of the throat, swelling of the neck, runny nose, nosebleeds, dry mouth, yellowness of the sclera, numbness in the hand and forearm, impaired motor function of the upper limbs.
• Diseases of the face, mouth and eyes: swelling of the face, paralysis of the muscles of one half of the face, stiffness of the tongue, thorns, redness of the eyes, decreased visual acuity, pain in the eyes.
• Throat diseases: pain and swelling of the mucous membrane of the throat, loss of voice (aphonia).
• Dental diseases: caries, toothache, inflammation of the gums.
• Ear diseases: hearing loss, tinnitus, deafness, suppuration from the ear.
• Diseases with properties of heat: feverish conditions and other diseases with properties of heat.
• Shen vital spirit disorders: manic state, apoplexy.
• Critical conditions: coma, loss of consciousness, carbon monoxide poisoning, sunstroke, convulsions, apoplexy.
• Women’s diseases: prolongation of pregnancy, amenorrhea, algomenorrhea.
• Diseases of the muscles of the manual yang-ming channel: tension and pain in the muscles of the spine and back, unilateral and general headache, pain in the parietal region of the head.
• Other diseases: decreased milk secretion after childbirth, heminlegia, purulent processes on the surface of the body.
