Boxing Rope Workout Guide

develop your ability to do that boxing shift and that good shuttle rhythm that all seasoned boxers have. It's not difficult at all, but it's surprising that many boxers still don't do it. If you need a good shuttle (or at least want to stop looking like a beginner), start jumping rope more.

Boxing Rope Workout

The jump rope can be used as a warm-up or cool-down. Boxers usually jump for 10-15 minutes (3 rounds non-stop) as a warm-up before their boxing training. If you can't jump 3 rounds, start with 3 minutes, then gradually add.

Once you master the basic tricks, start learning other tricks so you don't get bored of jumping. Jump to the music or chat with friends. Jump rope time can be your meditation time or socializing time. Once you get used to clean jumping rope, this exercise will be no more difficult for you than jogging.

You can make jumping rope as challenging (interesting) as you want. Try to change the speed or try different tricks, whatever you want. You can simulate the timing of boxing rounds by picking up the pace in the last 15 seconds of each round and then slowing down during the rest periods.

Skipping rope will eventually become a habit for you. This is one of the few parts of your workout routine that can be creative, fun, and different every time. It develops your back, shoulders, and arms, and also your legs. It improves your footwork, coordination, endurance, power, everything! Seriously… the jump rope is your magic pill!

NO SUBSTITUTIONS FOR ROPPING ROPPING

Running is a simple exercise that can be done with zero attention. Ladder exercises are better, but they still don't force you to develop that perfect rhythm and productivity the way jump rope does. Jump rope requires you to maintain a minimum level of attention and coordination, which helps you stay calm and relaxed when you make quick moves in the ring.

The level of attention you use for jumping rope should be used as offensive and defensive attention in the ring. A boxer who is jumping rope will be much more aware of his resting rhythm, and will move with more natural speed than a boxer who is not jumping rope. The jump rope is a great exercise that develops your overall athleticism and cannot be replaced by anything else.

Jumping rope is THE BEST EXERCISE
for the development of endurance and productivity of the work of the legs.
