Consulate, Visa

The Principality of Liechtenstein is a party to the Schengen Convention. Russian citizens need a visa to enter its territory.

In accordance with the agreement of 06 November 1963 between Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, the rules for issuing entry visas to Switzerland apply to all applications for issuing entry visas to the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Visas for entry into the country are issued at the visa section of the Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow and the Consulate General in St. Petersburg with the permission of the authorities of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Visa applications are accepted at the Swiss Visa Application Centers on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Tourist visa (Schengen visa category C)

To obtain a visa, you must provide the following documents:

foreign passport, the validity of which is at least 3 months from the end of the trip. The passport must have at least two free pages for gluing the visa sticker;
a photocopy of the first page of the passport with the personal data of the tourist;
photocopies of the pages of the passport with the last two Schengen visas, if any;
a questionnaire completed in English, German, French or Italian and personally signed by the applicant;
2 color photographs of the established sample, one of which is glued to the questionnaire;
a copy of the ticket (e-ticket, train ticket, etc.) valid for travel to and from Liechtenstein (tickets with an open date are not accepted);
a copy of health insurance valid for the entire stay in Liechtenstein and the Schengen countries. The sum insured must be at least 30,000 euros;
confirmation of a hotel reservation or apartment rental indicating the name and surname of the tourist and the length of stay in the country, or a voucher from a Swiss travel agency. Originals, fax copies, printouts from the websites of international booking systems are accepted for consideration. The confirmation must indicate that a prepayment has been made for the hotel/apartment. If a printout from the Internet is provided, it must contain the name, address and telephone number of the hotel, the name and surname of the applicant, the type of room and the unique reservation number;
certificate of employment on the letterhead of the organization indicating the position, date of commencement of work, salary, with the signature of the head and the seal of the enterprise. The certificate must also contain an indication that the employee is granted leave for the period of the trip with the preservation of the workplace;
owners and employees of individual entrepreneurs, in addition to a certificate of employment, must also provide a copy of the Certificate of registration of the enterprise and its tax registration;
students and schoolchildren must provide a certificate from the place of study indicating the address and telephone numbers of the educational institution, the original and a copy of the student ID card, a letter of travel financing and a certificate from the work of the sponsor, as well as a copy of the first page of his passport and a document confirming kinship;
confirmation of the availability of sufficient financial resources (signed travel checks - originals and copies, bank statements on transactions for the last 3 months) at the rate of 100 Swiss francs per person for each day of stay in the country;
description of the itinerary (for the entire stay in Liechtenstein) in English, German, French or Italian.

When traveling in your own car, you must submit to the consulate:

a copy of the international driver's license;
a copy of the vehicle registration certificate;
the original and a copy of the international motor liability insurance policy (Green card).

In some cases, the consulate reserves the right to require additional documents, submit the submitted documents for consideration to the Liechtenstein authorities or invite the applicant to the consulate for a personal conversation.
Visitor visa

To obtain this visa, you must submit the following documents to the consulate:

foreign passport, the validity of which is at least 3 months from the end of the trip. The passport must have at least one free page for gluing the visa sticker;
a photocopy of the first page of the passport with the personal data of the tourist;
photocopies of the pages of the passport with the last two Schengen visas, if any;
a questionnaire completed in English, German, French or Italian and personally signed by the applicant;
an obligation signed by the applicant to comply with the rules of the visa regime;
2 color photographs of the established sample, one of which is glued to the questionnaire;
original invitation (copies are not considered!) containing the following information:

First Name Last Name, date of birth and passport number of the invitee;
length of stay of the invitee in the country;
the nature of the relationship between the inviter and the invitee (kindred or friendly).

a copy of the passport (page with signature and photo) of a citizen of Liechtenstein or a residence permit of the inviting person;
in case of kinship - a copy of the supporting document (birth certificate, marriage certificate);
a copy of the ticket (e-ticket, train ticket, etc.) valid for travel to and from Liechtenstein (tickets with an open date are not accepted);
a copy of health insurance valid for the entire stay in Liechtenstein and in the Schengen countries. The sum insured must be at least 30,000 euros;
certificate of employment on the letterhead of the organization indicating the position, date of commencement of work, salary, with the signature of the head and the seal of the enterprise. If, for some reason, the invitee cannot provide a document confirming the availability of sufficient funds for the trip, or a certificate of employment, he must provide a "Declaration of Guarantee" (provided that all other documents specified in the list are present). This document can be obtained by contacting the visa section of the Swiss consulate. The declaration must be sent to Liechtenstein, where the inviting party must complete and submit it to the police department for foreign citizens. Please note that it may take up to four weeks for the warranty declaration to be reviewed.
You can also provide the original invitation, in which, in addition to the above data it is stated that the inviting party agrees to cover all expenses associated with the visitor's stay in Liechtenstein, including travel expenses, food and accommodation expenses, as well as possible medical expenses.
Traveling with children

If you plan to travel with children, you must provide:

the original and a copy of the child's birth certificate, a copy must be translated into German, French, Italian or English and notarized;
for children under 18 traveling accompanied by one of the parents or third parties, it is necessary to provide the original and a copy of the notarized power of attorney for the removal of the child from the remaining parent(s) and its translation into German or English; a copy of the first page of the principal's passport and a copy of a document confirming kinship. If one of the parents has died or is absent, originals and copies of the relevant documents (death certificate, police certificate or court decision on depriving the parent/s of parental rights) must be provided.

For children entered in the parents' passport, a separate questionnaire is filled out, which is signed by both parents. Also, two photographs of the established sample are attached to the application. For children who have their own passport, a full package of documents is provided.
Photo Requirements

The photographs attached to the application must meet the following requirements:

photo size 3.5 x 4.5 cm;
clear color image on a light background;
the image should occupy approximately 70% -80% of the image (from the top of the head to the chin should be at least 25 mm);
the photo should not have ovals, frames and corners;
the applicant must be depicted without sunglasses, hats, scarves, except when necessary for religious reasons;
one photo must be glued to the application form, the second must be attached to the application, writing
