Cotton knitted items are highly valued. And it is most often used to create children’s clothing, since cotton is a very soft fabric.

Cotton things are knitted with knitting needles.

Let’s look at a few examples:

1) scarf and hat for a boy

Visor: cast on thirty-seven loops and knit one front row, garter stitch further,

at the end and beginning of the row, decreasing one loop through the row until

until twenty-five loops remain, knit one row, tear off the thread.

Ears: cast on three loops and knit twenty centimeters in garter stitch (these will be ties).

Next row: twice (one front, one loop from the broach), one front

next row: front.

Next row: knit 1, 1 st from broach, knit to last st,

one loop from the broach, one front.

Repeat the last two rows until there are seventeen loops,

six centimeters knit straight, break the thread.

Cap: cast on thirteen loops; then seventeen loops of the first ear; dial eight loops;

knit the loops of the visor like this: (two facial together) twelve times, one facial;

dial eight loops; seventeen loops of the second ear; Cast on thirteen stitches (eighty nine stitches)

Knit four rows.

next row: add a purl loop to each of the second first loops, one purl, (one purl, increase in the next loop, two purl, increase in the next loop) seventeen times an increase in the next loop. (one hundred twenty-six loops in total).

next is the pattern:

one row (right side): two purl, two facial, two purl – to the end of the row.

second row: two facial, two purl, two facial – to the end of the row.

third row: second purl X, two purl, where X is the thread before work, remove one loop, one purl, one facial behind the front. wall with the next loop, then throw the removed loop over the knitted two.

fourth row: repeat the second row, then sixteen rows in this pattern.

Next row: purl two together, knit two, purl two together (ninety-four loops).

Next row: Dec 2 sts evenly (ninety-two sts).

Further reduction:

First row: (eleven facial, two facial together) seven times, one facial.

Row 2 (and all even rows): purl.

Third row: (knit ten, two together facial) seven times, one facial.

The main knitting is three by three braids in every eighth row with an overlap in one direction (for example, to the left) by about fifteen centimeters.

Four rows of knitted garter.

The front surface is fifteen centimeters. To cut the neck, we close the middle twenty-six loops, then in every second row, two loops for the first time, and one loop for the second time.

Close the shoulder loops.

Before:

We collect sixty-eight loops.

Elastic band two by two – four centimeters.

The main knitting is three by three braids in every eighth row with an overlap in one direction (for example, to the right) by about fifteen centimeters.

Garter stitch four rows.

We pass to the thread of contrast. Front surface three centimeters

We close the middle ten loops under the fastener.

We knit the left and right parts separately.

At a height of thirteen and a half centimeters, from the garter stitch we close twelve loops for the neck from the middle, then in every second row three loops once, two loops twice, one loop three times.

Close the shoulder loops.

Sleeve.

We collect thirty loops with a contrasting thread.

We knit with an elastic band two by two five centimeters. In the last row, twelve loops are added evenly. We make a further increase on both sides in every eighth row.

We alternate the strips every sixteen rows. We close on a contrasting thread.

Assembly.

Sew side, shoulder seams.

Sew on the sleeves.

Crochet the neckline and cutout under the bar with one row of single crochet stitches. Knit in garter stitch. At the right distance (for a girl / boy), make loops.

Dial on the neckline for the collar of the loop. Knit five to six centimeters in garter stitch.

Sew on buttons.

We decorate the finished product with appliqué or embroidery.

The entire jumper is purl-smooth.

The number of loops is considered according to sample calculation.

The needles are two and a half in diameter.

On the back there is a button closure.

Collar trim – crocheted.

Increase in sleeves – standard – every 6th row at the end and at the beginning.

The skirt is knitted:

According to the calculation of the sample, the number of loops. It’s better to measure your waist. And you need to knit a little wider, as we will put it on a wide elastic band later.

Skirt with wedges. We knit the wedges with the front surface, the gaps with the wrong side. The number of wedges is up to you. Eight is the best.

We calculate the number of loops in such a way that (the number of wedge loops plus one) is multiplied by the number of wedges plus two edging.

For example, (sixteen plus one) eight plus two plus one hundred and thirty eight stitches.

First, you need to knit eight – ten rows with a front stitch, the first row with a wrong side stitch and seven – nine again with a front one. This we get a pocket for an elastic band. Then you will need to hem it.

Then gradually begin to expand the distance between the wedges. To do this, every fourth time in every sixth row we alternately add one loop on each side.

Then, in every fourth row, we make increments, and when we reach the desired length of the skirt, we stop.

It is necessary to iron or moisten and stretch the products on the pattern (it is better to iron through wet gauze).

We carry out connecting seams.
