Merj Ayoun (arab. قضاء مرجعيون‎) is one of the 25 districts of Lebanon, part of the province of Nabatiyah. The administrative center of the district is the city of Merj Ayun.

Geography
The district is located in the southeastern part of Lebanon and covers an area of ​​313 km². It borders Jezzin to the north, Nabatiyah and Tire to the west, Bint Jubail to the southwest, Hasbayah to the northeast, Israel to the southeast, and disputed territory. Golan Heights.
