Abasha

Abasha (Georgian აბაშა) is a city (until 1964 a village) in western Georgia, the center of the Abasha region of Megrelia (western Georgia, the region of Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti). Population 6 thousand inhabitants (2009).
Railway station on the line Sukhum – Samtredia.
