Hwanghae-nam-do

Hwanghaenam-do (Korean: 황해남도, 黃海南道) is a province in North Korea. It was formed in 1954 by dividing Hwanghae Province into northern and southern parts. The administrative center is the city of Haeju.
In the east it borders with the province of Hwanghae-buk-do, in the south-east with Kaesong. The southern border runs along the DMZ. From the west it is washed by the Yellow Sea.

Hwanghaenam-do is divided into 1 city (si) and 19 counties (gun).
