The favorable season for skiers lasts from the beginning of winter until the last days of March. In the highlands, the season lasts until mid-May.

The resort is surrounded by mountain slopes, which form a kind of ring around it. Therefore, a temperate climate with high humidity prevails here.

Winter. In winter, the temperature usually does not rise above zero. At the height and in the valley, the air temperature is different. In the mountains there are frosts of about -12 degrees. In rare cases, the temperature drops to -20.

Summer. Sunny weather prevails in Chamonix. In summer it is warm here: from +18 to +20 degrees. High in the mountains, the temperature is 5 degrees higher.
