Food and restaurants

Lech and Zürs have a wide range of cafes and restaurants serving Austrian, Italian, Mediterranean, Asian, American and international cuisine. Also in both villages there is an abundance of bakeries, sausage and other food stalls where all sorts of yummy takeaways are sold.

There are over 50 restaurants in Leh, and most of them are located in hotels.

The Arlberg’s popular restaurant, La Fenice, serves gourmet Italian cuisine prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Fondue and traditional Austrian dishes go well in the cozy atmosphere of the Parlour restaurant. The large cellar stocks fine wines from all over Europe and invites you for tastings.

The Burg restaurant offers light and tasty Mediterranean cuisine as well as traditional Austrian dishes. Gourmet dinners of 5-6 courses and Italian evenings are held weekly.

Krone – the a la carte restaurant at the Die Krone von Lech (or Romantic Hotel Krone, in the center of Lech), is famous for its virtuosic performance of traditional Austrian dishes and excellent service. Another hotel restaurant, Panorama, opened in 1932, with majestic panoramic views, serves hotel guests only.

The Almhof Schneider restaurant in the hotel of the same name invites you to taste traditional Austrian dishes in an elegant atmosphere.

Rudi’s Stamperl – typical alpine a la carte restaurant, first class food (Austrian, international) at reasonable prices, great desserts, children’s and vegetarian menu. The wine collection includes 180 items, 10 bottles are opened daily for tasting.

Post – modern Austrian and international cuisine, an impressive selection of desserts. Expensive, but the portions are generous and the service is pleasant.

Fux – French, Asian cuisine and steakhouse (the steaks are very good – garnished with fried potatoes, garlic bread, corn and lettuce), as well as the best wine list in the Arlberg region: more than 2700 items.

Restaurant-bar Hûs Nr.8 is located in an old chalet next to a covered wooden bridge in the center of Lech. The cuisine is traditional Austrian, prepared with special love, and the prices (by Lech’s standards) are moderate. For dinner, we recommend booking a table in advance.

Don Enzo Due – excellent pizzas, but with the service – how lucky. Good luck!

Cafe Olympia – in the center Lech – recommended not only for sweet tooth, greedy for coffee and cakes, but also for meat lovers. And the best apple strudel is still cooked in Backstube Lech (bakery-cafe-confectionery).

In Zürs, the restaurant of the Zurserhof Hotel has world-class cuisine and one of the best service in the resort. It’s not for nothing that the rich and famous like to visit here, and a dress code is usually required during gala concerts and theme nights that take place here twice a week.

Favored by local instructors, the Hirlanda’s restaurant serves gourmet Austrian and Mediterranean cuisine, complemented by an extensive international wine list.

The popular Schweizerhaus restaurant prepares traditional Austrian cuisine, as well as the small and cozy restaurant Chesa (. In the basement of the latter there is a club where many guests go down after a hearty dinner to “continue the banquet”. Lech is the oldest, most expensive and snowiest resort in AustriaIt is located in the Arlberg region, on the border with Germany. The ski area is divided between Lech and Zürs and is known as the “Austrian St. Moritz”.Lech is part of the prestigious Best of the Alps cohort of resorts, celebrities and rich people who understand a sense of real ski quality.
The village of Lech is very pretty, in 2004 it received the title of the most beautiful village in Europe. The architecture is in the traditional chalet style, but in general, accommodation in Lech hotels is noticeably more expensive than the average for Austria. However, as well as the fur coats that walk here after dinner.
