Mini is a recognized leader in the automotive market, whose cars are known for being the smallest passenger cars in the world, now produced by the well-known BMW company in Germany.

The reason for creating such a car model was that after the crisis of the 50s, automotive fuel became an almost inaccessible commodity, and therefore there was a demand for small cars.
It was in the UK that the idea arose to create the car that the automotive market of that time so needed.

Lord Loring made sure that the development of the car met all the ideal criteria he presented for a domestic mini-car, and gave the designer Alex Issigonis the opportunity to work on the creation of the project.

The first Mini was released in 1957, and a few years later it was put into mass production, having a 4-cylinder engine and being very compact in size – only 3 x 1.2 x 1.2 m.

Mini conquered many hearts of motorists, so in addition to all its advantages, it also had excellent technical characteristics.
At the beginning of its birth, the name of the subcompact was Austin 7 and Morris Minor, but since 1961 the car has received its world-famous name Mini.

The Mini Cooper, which appeared in 1961, became a legend and at first it had a rather modest 848 cc engine, but after a few years it increased its power to a 1071 cc engine, which allowed it to win rallies.

After a period of demand and prosperity, the 80s came, which brought the company temporary oblivion, some models were discontinued and the classic Mini was mainly represented by the brand.

But, despite a certain period of calm, Mini was recognized as the most successful in the history of the automotive industry.

In 2000, BMW acquired the rights to manufacture cars of this brand. A year later, an update of the lineup began to take place, and the New Mini One with a 90 hp engine was introduced to motorists of the world. and the New Mini Cooper with a 115 hp engine.

The Mini Cooper S is a unique vehicle as it represents the most powerful vehicle in its class thanks to its 16 hp.
Updating a number of the Mini brand took place constantly and concerned both the expansion of the technical capabilities of the car and the appearance. So, the motor power in some Minis was brought to 211 hp with a six-speed gearbox.
