Customs

Guernsey customs regulations are identical to current UK regulations.
It is allowed to import duty-free from countries outside the European Union:
cigarettes – up to 200 pieces, or cigars – up to 50 pieces, or cigarillos – up to 100 pieces, or tobacco – up to 250 grams;
simple wines – up to 4 liters,
fortified wines up to 22 degrees – no more than 2 liters,
strong alcoholic drinks over this strength – no more than 1 liter,
beer – up to 16 liters.
The transit of funds (including through the territory of the European Union) in the amount of more than ten thousand euros is possible only with a completed declaration.
Pets can only be transported upon presentation of a veterinary certificate of an established international standard. At the border, animals must be quarantined, except for those that have an implanted chip and the certificate contains a note about vaccination against rabies (for dogs, a record of the administered antihelminthic drug is also required).
The import of gasoline is limited to the volume of a tank of a personal car.
It is forbidden to transport military equipment, cold and firearms and ammunition, explosives, as well as narcotic substances through the Guernsey border. Medicines containing narcotic components can only be transported with a special written permission.
