Halba

Halba (Arabic حلبا‎) is a small city in northern Lebanon, in the province of Akkar. The administrative center of Akkar district.

Geography
The city is located in the northern part of the province, in the Akkar Valley, north of the Nahr el Arko River (fr.) Russian, at a distance of approximately 22 kilometers northeast of the city of Tripoli and at a distance of 87 kilometers northeast of the capital countries of Beirut. The absolute height is 327 meters above sea level.

Population
The city’s population was estimated at 4,730 in 2013.

Transport
The nearest airport is located in the city of Tripoli.
