Anjara (Arabic: عنجرة‎) is a city in northwestern Jordan, located in the Ajlun Governorate. It is part of the Ajlun region.

Geographical position
The city is located in the eastern part of the governorate, west of the Jebel Ajloun range, approximately 31 kilometers (in a straight line) north-north-west (NNW) from the capital Amman. The absolute height is 1020 meters above sea level.

Population
According to the official 2015 census, the population was 25,981 (13,470 males and 12,511 females). There were 5096 households in the city.

Transport
The national highway No. 20 (Jarash – El Mafraq) passes through the city. The nearest airport is located in the city of Amman.
