Santo Domingo (Spanish: Santo Domingo) is a municipality and city in the province of Villa Clara in Cuba. It was founded in 1819 and received the status of a municipality in 1879.

Geography
It is bordered to the north by Corralillo, Quemado de Guines and Sagua la Grande, to the east by Cifuentes and Ranchuelo, to the west by Matanzas and to the south by Cienfuegos.

The municipality is divided into districts and villages: Alvarez, Arenas, Baracaldo, Cascajal, Cerrito, Este, George Washington, Jicotea, Hikiabo (Jiquiabo), Manacas, Mordazo, Oeste, Puerto Escondido, Rio (Río), Rodrigo, San Bartolomé, San Marcos and Yabushito.
