Geyikbayiri, Geyikbayiri (Turkey)

There are 3 main sectors in Geykbairi: Main, Turkish Standard and Trebenna. Each of them has its own characteristics and at one time is divided into sub-sectors, for greater convenience in finding trails. There are also remote and isolated sectors. All sectors are characterized by strong overhangs, while preparing for climbing, pay attention to this.

The climbing season starts from mid-September and ends in May. It is very hot in summer, but especially desperate people can enjoy it.

The area is designed for an intermediate climber, that is, when climbing routes of category 7a-7 with a redpoint, you will find something to do. For beginners, it will be hard to swing due to the small number of “Sixes” and heavy terrain.
Limestone rocks. A large number of colonets and stalactites, which are pleasing to the eye and add zest to the area. On a positive relief, the rocks are gray and very sharp, and the more the overhang increases, the softer and redder the rocks.

Sufficient proximity to Antalya and the richness of the area itself does not allow you to sit still. Between the days of climbing, there is an opportunity to go to the sea, or to explore the area itself.
In the Tourist season, the beaches still remain empty, and you don’t have to look for a place “where there are fewer Russians!”, But for especially sophisticated sea lovers, it is possible to find places for diving and cliff jumping. A huge number of places offering you to actively relax: Windsurfing, Wakeboard and Jet skis.

If you are not a big fan of the sea, then you will like walking along the slopes of the area. Peaks up to 2500 m high are located nearby. If you wish, you can spend another day climbing and look at Turkey from a height.

Fans of cultural recreation are given to the attention of ancient cities and historical monuments dating back to the 5th century BC. Museums are inexpensive, all within 10 euros.
On your own in the area you can visit the city of Trebenna.
