She welcomed her second child – a son called Freddie – with her husband Gerry Howell last summer.
And Game Of Throne’s star Gemma Whelan was every inch the doting mum as she stepped out with her bundle of joy in London’s Soho on Friday afternoon.
The actress, 41, who played Yara Greyjoy in the fantasy series, beamed as she cuddled her little one who look adorable in a pink and purple onesie.
Gemma cut a casual figure in navy and gold spotted leggings and which she teamed with a short-sleeved white shirt.
She completed her look with comfortable trainers and had her blonde tresses styled into plaits and opted for a natural makeup look to show off her pretty features.
The beauty held her baby who giggled away and looked cosy in the colourful outfit during the outing.
Gemma welcomed her son last summer and before that her daughter Frances in October 2017.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain in 2019 on Gemma, 37 recalled how she had to breastfeed the baby on set between takes, as she shot the final episodes for Game of Thrones season 8.
She said: ‘She came on set with me for the whole thing. I was breastfeeding her in between takes when I was taking breaks.
‘I was tied in [to her costume]. It’s hard to get in to [her costume]!’
She also recalled watching season 1 of the fantasy epic before auditioning for the role of Yara, who appeared on the show since 2012’s season 2.
Last year Gemma revealed actors were ‘left to get on with it’ while filming ‘frenzied’ sex scenes on Game Of Thrones.
She explained: ‘They used to just say, ”When we shout action, go for it!”, and it could be a sort of frenzied mess.
‘A director might say, ”Bit of boob biting, then slap her bum and go!”.’
However the star insisted actors would always ‘check in with each other’ before filming sexual scenes.
She told The Guardian: ‘There was a scene in a brothel with a woman and she was so exposed that we talked together about where the camera would be and what she was happy with. I’d always talk it through with the other actor.’
MailOnline reached out to HBO for comment at the time.
Gemma’s bisexual character Yara often engaged in raunchy scenes, most famously with her on-screen brother Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy).
