Sea lions glide along the strong currents off Devil's Crown Islet. The coast near Point Cormorant is full of olivine crystals, and there are many pink flamingos in the neighboring lagoon. Shark Bay washes the shores at Point Cormorant. Relatively harmless reef sharks are found here, as well as whale sharks, up to 15 m long. The snow-white sand of the local beach was chosen by turtles, who nest here from December to May. Hispaniola (Hood)

North Seymour

Bartolome (Plaza)
On this small, moon-like island (1.2 sq. km), two sparkling horseshoe-shaped bays are separated by a narrow strip of rainforest. From the highest peak of the island to the west stretches the desert crescent section of Santiago, representing an uninhabited array of hardened black lava flows. However, this area contains a source of drinking water, which saved many pirates who lived in the Pirates' Cave from thirst. One of the most beautiful places in the archipelago is Pinnacle Rock with stunning views of the beautiful coffee-colored sandy beaches.
